USAV FS-355 departed New York, 22 January 1945 , for the Southwest Pacific where she operated during the war at Zamboanga and elsewhere

Decommissioned and retired from US Army service 19 November 1945

Reactivated and named USAV PVT. Carl V. Sheridan (FS-355), date unknown

Sold in 1972 for service as a fishing vessel, named F/V John S. Dempster Jr.

Final Disposition, sunk, 21 January 2021 in the DelJersey Artificial Reef, 38° 31.340' 74° 30.671', 125ft
