Final Disposition, foundered in 1971 The Coast Guard manned Army vessel FS-267 was commissioned at New York on 18 September 1944, her first commanding officer being Lt. E. W. Stachle, USCGR. After a trip to Davisville, RI she departed New York on 10 October 1944, for the Southwest Pacific. During July 1945 she was transferred to the Navy Department in the Pacific area.
