  • Built in 1917 by Hall Russell and Co., Ltd., Aberdeen, Scotland
  • Launched 8 December 1917
  • Acquired by the U.S. Navy and commissioned UST George Burton 26 May 1919 at Grimsby Naval Base, England
  • Decommissioned 5 August 1919 at Brightlingsea, England
  • Returned to the Admiralty 30 September 1919
  • Sold in 1922 to R. W. Lewis of Aberdeen and renamed Bervie Braes
  • Sold in 1923 to W. Grove of Aberdeen
  • Sold in 1939 to J. Walker of Aberdeen
  • Taken over by the Admiralty in November 1939 and commissioned HMT Bervie Braes (FY 847)
  • Returned to her owners in October 1944
  • Sold in 1958/1959 to W. J. Fishing Co., Ltd. of Aberdeen.

  • Draft 14' 3"
  • Speed 9.5 kts.

  • Armament: Small arms
