Canadian Trawler:

  • Built by Tidewater Shipbuilding, Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada as HMCS TR-60
  • Completed 25 November 1918
  • Acquired by the U.S. Navy in 1918 and placed in service as Canadian Trawler CT-60
  • Placed out of service 15 August 1919
  • Struck from the Navy Register 19 August 1919 and returned to the Canadian Government and renamed TR-60
  • Sold in 1919 and named David Haigh
  • Acquired in September 1939 by South Africa and commissioned HMSAS David Haigh (T 13)
  • Served until June 1946
  • Acquired in 1947 by Irvin and Johnson, Ltd. of Cape Town, South Africa as part of the expansion of their South African fishing fleet
  • Fate unknown.
