  • Built in 1918 as War Flute by the Great Lakes Engineering Works, Ecorse, Michigan
  • Renamed Lake Mary while under construction
  • Launched 22 May 1918
  • Acquired by the Navy 29 November 1918 at Cardiff, Wales and commissioned USS Lake Mary (ID 4269) the same day
  • Decommissioned 26 July 1919, struck from the Navy Register and returned to the United States Shipping Board
  • Sold for scrap in 1927 to the Ford Motor Co. of River Rouge, Michigan.

  • Beam 43' 6"
  • Draft 19' 6"
  • Speed 9.5 kts.
  • Complement 52
  • Armament: One 3"/50 mount
