  • Built in 1912 by F. S. Nock, Boatbuilder, East Greenwich, RI
  • Acquired by the Navy 22 May 1917
  • Commissioned USS Artmar III (SP 408), 24 May 1917
  • Decommissioned 18 February 1919
  • Struck from the Navy list 11 April 1919
  • Transferred to the Coast Guard 15 September 1919 at Newport, RI and commissioned USCGC Artmar III
  • Renamed Dash 16 December 1919
  • Renamed AB-5, 6 November 1923
  • Sold 19 September 1933 to A. P. Cook of Fort Lauderdale, FL for $56.00
  • Fate unknown.

  • Speed 11 kts.
