1448k LCT(6)-1018, 15-16 August, 1944. Two LCT's (one USN and the other Royal Navy); two LCM's and one DUKW shown unloading on Green Beach, just east of Poine de Pierre Blave, Southern France. Buildings of a stone quarry lie on top of a steep embankment backing the beach. A one road exit off the beach lies off to the right. A first aid station may be observed on the beach lying between the two LCM's. Note beach markers and barrage balloons. Hill leading off the photo to left is cratered by bombardments against casements facing to seaward on this hill.
