  • Following World War II USS LSM-495 was assigned to Occupation service in the Far East from 8 November 1945 to 11 March 1946
  • Decommissioned, 26 August 1946, at Green Cove Springs, FL.
  • Laid up in the Atlantic Reserve Fleet, Florida Group, Green Cove Springs
  • Struck from the Naval Register, date unknown
  • Sold, 16 September 1958, to Western Contracting Corp., Sioux City, IA., converted to a barge
  • Final Disposition, scrapped during the 1980s
