LSM Flotilla Fourteen, LCDR. W. R. McCaleb;
LSM Group Forty-One;
LSM Division Eighty-Two

Following World War II USS LSM-456 was assigned to Occupation and China service in the Far East for the following period:

Decommissioned, 8 February 1947, and transferred the same day to the Republic of China
