Captain Eddie J. Park, USN
Commanding Officer

CAPT Eddie J. Park is from Seoul, South Korea and is a native of New York City.. A 2000 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he was designated a Naval Aviator upon completion of flight training in June 2002.
CAPT Park’s operational tours were with the HSL-43 Battlecats, HSL-49 Scorpions, and HSM-78 Bluehawks for his Command tour. CAPT Park deployed on USS MOBILE BAY (CG 53), USS PINCKNEY (DDG 91), USS GRIDLEY (DDG 101), and USS CARL VINSON (CVN 70).
His shore duties include Flight Instructor for the MH-60R, Distinguished graduate from the Korean Naval War College, Joint Staff, Commander Naval Air Forces and PEO C4I.
He has earned various awards to include the RADM Tomaszeski Commanding Officer Leadership Award, Navy and Marine Corps Association Peer Leadership Award, Flight Medal for duties during Operational Iraqi Freedom, Joint Meritorious Service Award, and multiple Meritorious Service Awards.
CAPT Park is class of 2000 from the U.S. Naval Academy and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University with focuses in Operations and Management.
CAPT Park is the Commanding Officer aboard USS Tripoli (LHA 7) as of 17APR25
