  • Laid down, 22 February 1943, as Enright (DE-216), a Buckley Class Destroyer Escort, at Philadelphia Navy Yard, Philadelphia, PA.
  • Launched, 29 May 1943
  • Commissioned USS Enright (DE-216), 21 September 1943, LCDR. A. Wildner in command
  • Converted to a Charles Lawrence Class High-speed Transport at Boston Navy Yard, Boston, MA.
  • Redesignated (APD-66), 21 January 1945
  • During World War II USS Enright (APD-66) was first assigned to the Europe-Africa-Middle East and later to the Asiatic-Pacific Theaters and participated in the following campaign:

    Assault and occupation of Okinawa Gunto, 10 to 30 June 1945

  • Hull renumbered twice more to (D-03) then (D-02)
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 31 March 1978
  • USS Enright earned one battle star for World War II service
  • Purchased out right by the government of Ecuador, 30 August 1978
  • Deleted by the Ecuador Navy in 1989
  • Final Disposition, presumed broken up and scrapped
