  • Laid down, date unknown, for the US Army as the Small Freighter FS-548 (design 381) at United Concrete Pipe, Long Beach CA
  • Delivered to the US Army in November 1944
  • Commissioned USAV FS-548, 2 November 1944 Los Angeles, LTjg. N. R. Samuelson, USCGR in Command, as first commanding officer
  • LTjg. Samuelson was succeeded in command, 11 September 1945 by LTjg. James E. Warren, USCGR
  • FS-548 was assigned to and operated in the Southwest Pacific and Western Pacific areas, including Leyte, etc.
  • Decommissioned, date unknown
  • Transferred from the US Army Transportation Command (USAT) to the US Navy Military Sea Transportation Service (MSTS), 1 July 1950, designated T-AKL-32
  • Struck from the Naval Register in 1961
  • Final Disposition, fate unknown
