  • Acquired by the US Navy, 25 November 1943, and placed in reduced commission for transit to her conversion yard, LCDR. Hans B. Olsen, USNR, (Ferry Crew #2) in command
  • Decommissioned, 29 November 1943, at Mobile AL.
  • Recommissioned, 3 April 1944, at Mobile, AL., CDR. Edward J. Fluhr USNR in command
  • During World War II USS Alderamin was assigned to the Asiatic-Pacific Theater
  • Following World War II USS Alderamin was assigned to China Service from 8 to 12 December 1945
  • Decommissioned, 10 April 1946
  • Delivered to the Maritime Commission, 10 April 1946, at the National Defense Reserve Fleet, Suisun Bay, Benecia, CA. for disposal
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 1 May 1946
  • Withdrawn from the National Defense Reserve Fleet and transferred to the US Navy, 17 February 1965
