    YR-71 50k YR-71 moored pierside at Naval Support Activity Danang, South Vietnam, in 1966 with US Coast Guard cutters USCGC Point Orient (WPB-83319) and USCGC Point Welcome (WPB-82329) alongside. YR-71 performed combat repair and recovery of US Navy and South Vietnam PBR and SWIFT boats in and around Danang, Vung Tau, Bhien Tuey and Tan Chau from 1967 through 1970.
