  • Placed in service as the Yard Net Tender Metacom (YN-51), 11 March 1941
  • Allocated to the Third Naval District
  • Redesignated Yard Net Tender Tug YNT-19, 01 May 1942
  • Redesignated Harbor Tug Medium YTM-740, 02 August 1945
  • Placed out of service at Brooklyn, 30 August 1946
