  • Launched 9 June 1917
  • Acquired by the Navy 24 April 1918
  • Commissioned USS William Isom (ID 1555), 1 May 1918
  • Decommissioned 21 August 1919 and returned to the United States Shipping Board for return to her owners, the Sinclair Gulf Corp.
  • Sold in 1920 to the American Italian Commercial Corp.
  • Sold in the mid-1920s to the Cuba Distilling Co.
  • Sold in 1930 to Edwin B. DeGolia for the Hillcone Steamship Co.and renamed SS Edwin B. DeGolia
  • Sold in late 1947/early 1948 to the Artemis Maritime Co. of Panama and renamed SS Demosthenes until late 1955/early 1956
  • Fate unknown.

  • Draft 22' 11¼"

  • Armament: One 5"/40 and one 3"/50 mount
