  • Acquired by the Navy 10 May 1917 and commissioned USS Manito II ((SP 262) the same day
  • Sold 25 March 1920
  • Registered in 1926 to S. M. Coen of Jacksonville, FL as the yacht Shirley I
  • Fate unknown.

    Dictionary of American Naval Fighting Ships: Manito II, a wooden motor yacht built in 1912 by Hudson Yacht & Boat Co., Nyack, N.Y.; was purchased by the Navy 10 May 1917 from Mr. I. K. Keyward; and commissioned the same day.

    Assigned to the 6th Naval District, Manito II operated on section patrol based at Charleston, S.C., throughout the war. She was sold 25 March 1920.
