Admirable Class Minesweeper:

  • Laid down 9 May 1943 as Spector by the Associated Shipbuilders, Seattle, WA
  • Launched 15 February 1944
  • Renamed Specter 8 March 1944
  • Commissioned USS Specter (AM 306), 30 August 1944
  • Decommissioned in December 1945 at Orange, TX
  • Reclassified as a Fleet Minesweeper (Steel Hull), MSF-306, 7 February 1955
  • Struck from the Naval Register 1 July 1972
  • Transferred to Mexico 11 April 1973 and renamed ARM DM-04 (ID-04)
  • Renamed ARM General Manuel E. Rincon (C 52)
  • Fate unknown.
