BAM-32 served the Navies of Great Britain and Turkey.
Auk Class Minesweeper/Catherine Class British Minesweeper:

  • Laid down 8 June 1942 as BAM-32 by the Gulf Shipbuilding Co., Chickasaw, AL
  • Launched 27 January 1943
  • Completed 26 October 1943, transferred to Great Britain and named HMS Tattoo (J 374)
  • Returned to U.S. custody in January 1947, transferred to the State Department, Foreign Liquidation Commission, sold to Turkey and renamed TCG Çarsamba (A 594)
  • Reclassified Ç-4
  • Struck from the Naval Register in 1985
  • Fate unknown.
