BAM-10 was built for Great Britain.
BAM-1/Auk Class Minesweeper:

  • Laid down 11 April 1942 as BAM-10 by Associated Shipbuilders, Seattle, WA
  • Launched 7 September 1942
  • Completed 28 July 1943 and transferred to Great Britain
  • Delivered 7 September 1943 and placed in service as HMS Cato (J 16)
  • Sunk off Normandy 6 July 1944 by a German "Neger" human torpedo
  • Struck from the Navy Register 22 August 1944.
