Hawk Class Minesweeper:

Built in November 1937 as the steel hull trawler Yale by the Bethlehem Shipbuilding Co., Quincy, MA for the General Sea Foods Corp., Boston, MA

Renamed Tide in 1939

Acquired by the Navy 1 January 1942

Conversion to a Minesweeper began 8 January 1942 at the Bethlehem Steel Co., East Boston, MA

Renamed Ibis 21 January 1942

Completed conversion and commissioned USS Ibis (AM 134), 23 May 1942

Decommissioned 1 May 1944

Transferred to the War Shipping Administration 16 September 1944 struck from the Naval Register and sold to her original owners and renamed Tide in 1945

Renamed Celian B. Putnam in 1990

Scrapped in 2002.
