  • Decommissioned at Baltimore, 7 March 1945, for conversion to a Landing Craft Repair Ship at Bethlehem Steel Key Highway Plant, Baltimore, MD.
  • Recommissioned USS Amphitrite (ARL-29), 28 June 1945, LT. Thomas S. S. Medford, USNR in command
  • Following World War II USS Amphitrite was assigned to Occupation and China service in the Far East for the following periods:
