  • Contracted to Waterman Steamship Co.
  • During World War II SS Aberdeen Victory was supported operations in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater
  • SS Aberdeen Victory participated in the Assault and occupation of Okinawa in May 1945
  • Returned to the Maritime Commission, circa 1945-1946, for lay up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet, Suisun Bay, Benecia, CA.
  • Transferred to the US Navy, 7 July 1951
